Re: 16oc or 24oc groundlevel deck

If I go with a simple 16'x16' deck with 2x6x16 and put it on deckblocks to have enough ground clearance, do I need 3 deckblock Per 2x6x16? meaning one at each end and 1 in the middle?
Can I cut that down to 2? basicly having 4 feet Overhang and 8 feet in between the 2 deck block?

Re: 16oc or 24oc groundlevel deck

a bigger house deck is a no go, itll look way too massive what if there was a ground deck around 20x20 , between basicly the 2 decks, ( where the table sits) and I could change the angle of both existing deck stairs to actually drop on the new ground level deck. 1 pf the concern is my wife hates wal...

Re: 16oc or 24oc groundlevel deck

itll be made with 2x6 no post or dekblock for support just right on the ground Not a good idea. Even treated materials will rot if put into contact with the ground or left to sit in a puddle of water, both of which you're going to have in this scenario. Additionally, without at least some elevation...

Re: how to install a toilet from scrach?

My understanding of the situation is:
- I neet to to cut the Lead flush to the concrete
-Remove some of my vinyl flooring to make space for a Closet Flange
- Install the said closet flange
- Put down a Wax Donut
- sit the toilet on it
- connect the water outlet to the toilet?

Re: how to install a toilet from scrach?

2 things I can think of : either cut the lead with a saw and use a ''drain'' to connect to the abs below? or somehow I have to break the concrete to ''unscrew'' that thing?
