Re: Shed floor

There are French drains around the shed and they quite well. Thanks for the suggestions! Shannon, I will start by adding some ventilation. Dan and A. Spruce, those are great suggestions. What will the ridid foam do?

Re: Shed floor

I have windows that I crack open during the year.
The shed is on the ground. I had placed several layers of sand/crushed rock/plastic for the foundation.

Thanks!

Shed floor

I built a shed and The floor is made of 2x2 concrete pavers. There is a lot of moisture that seeps and is making the interior moldy. I want to replace the pavers with something less permeable. Can I remove these pavers and fill the floor with concrete? Thanks for your advise and expertise.

Re: Shed floor- pavers

French drain around the shed to a pit with gravity only. Will it be enough to displace the excessive water.

Shed floor- pavers

I dug out approximately 10-12 inches for my shed floor. The layers are landscaper paper, 1/4 minus basalt, sand, and the concrete pavers. I also used polymeric sand to fill gaps between pavers. I live in the Pacific NW and the rain can be persistant. I notice that with heavy rainfall, the spaces bet...

Corrugated metal roofing

I am building a 8x16 shed and want to place a corrugated metal roof, but I want to have the interior somewhat closed enough to insulate and keep warm/cool. Instead of placing the roofing directly on the rafters, I wish to have plywood or other layers on first and place the metal on top of the wood. ...
