Re: Transforming garage sewer drains for bathroom

Hey Shannon those pipes in the garage are all 3"
The main stack is about 10 ft behind new toilet location in a diagonal.
But I am thinking instead of tearing up basement floor to gain access , way easier to tap into garage pipes as they gotta go through there to reach out to city.

Electric water heater

Hey guys !

So I have a 60 gallon Giant water heater with 2 elements rated 4500 watts
I will use wire 10/2
Which breaker size do i need 25 or 30 amps ?
If I downgrade to a 40 gallon is my wire 10/2 still ok ?
Then a 20 amp would be ok for 3000 watts ?

Thanks again !

So you don't think when the washer discharges it would overflow to sink ?
Also the p trap I have has a clean out but everything will be hidden behind drywall should I change to a regular p trap with no clean out since this setup uses only 1 trap ?
