Thanks for responding Shannon, but no I have not recently installed the valve or change the cartridge. To clarify it just a little more, while the the knob is turned off the water is still coming out the spigot

Shower valve problem

Hey guys,I have a one handle shower valve. The problem is the hot water won't turn off in the off position I'm thinking the shower valve is defected and I just need to replace the whole shower valve. What are your thoughts?

Thanks Shannon and spruce. What I did was I took mine digital angle finder and just put it along the edge of the angle and it actually said like 134.4 so I just rounded down. But I definitely learned something.

Basement .I thought return air vents doesn't usually have ducting but this is a old house so I'm probably wrong. In a refrigerated was right there but it's being replaced with a cabinet and a stove keep in mind those are the old cabinets in the picture

I have had plenty cuts and scrapes. And close calls with getting my eyes blinded by thrown objects. It's gotten to the point where I don't even feel safe cutting my yard without safety glasses.lol
