I have to finish the insulation in my furnace room 3 of the walls are easy to get at stud and use batts. The problem is the wall behind my furnace and hot water heater. Thanks Shannon but the purpose of building this room was because of the difficulty of insulating the exterior walls in this area. It was recommended that i build a room and insulate the 2 walls . Service Panel Room

I have built a small room around my service panel and will be insulating the 2 walls . My question is should I put 6 mil vapour barrier on these 2 walls as well ? If yes what side inside or outside of the wall.

How to finish around my service panel and sewer pipe

I have my all my exterior basement walls studded. So now I need to do something with this area that has my service panel and sewer pipe so I can insulate it and pass inspection. Need some ideas on what to do in this corner.
