They are great, I have used them for years. When using PL premium gluing drywall to an existing wall where drywall screws can't be used, I will use a 2x4 across the drywall and put the (I call them pump jacks) against the opposing wall and apply pressure.And also great for dust containment as Spruce...

I always use Rockon backer board screws that have a coating to resist possible rust from getting to the grout.
They are expensive but are used in conjunction with high moisture.

Thanks Shannon, if there is no type of backing, is a vapor barrier necessary when using the Rockwool plus MB(from Roxul) which is for metal buildings or is a barrier not required?

insulation and vapor barrier on metal studs

I was wondering what application would be used for a vapor barrier when using metal studs on an outside wall? I think Roxul has an insulation with a backing on it.

Do you have breakers or fuses? There might be a fuse out or a tripped breaker
If you don't have breakers it might be a good idea up upgrade your electrical panel to breakers.

Hi Shannon, yes they are pie shaped just different wording, and yes I want to cut the hardwood to fit but they want a solid piece so I guess it will be a piece of veneered plywood cut to shape and a pice of bull nosing
