Re: Floor Tile installation in 2-3 days

When you stop tiling for the day, put a leveler clip under the last tile and put a scrap piece of tile beside it with no thinset under it and install the wedge and the tile will be at the right height the next day

I'm having trouble finding red and blue PEX expansion (Uponor) rings. I'm only finding white. I see you use red and blue in your videos -- do you know of any online sources for DIY folks? Thanks.
Maybe ask them where they are available in your area.

Just to add, if that is vinyl flooring it may have asbestos in it if installed in 1967.

The electrical people will be by in a bit,but I suppose you have looked at all of the breakers and they are on and there hasn't been any renovation work done to affect any damaging of the wiring, it could be a bad breaker. Re: Shower niche on common wall of condo

I have worked in older condo's before and there was space between the units for the drains etc., but it is probably a good idea to speak to the maintenance people of the building as they have probably been through it many times and know how much clearance there is.

They are great, I have used them for years. When using PL premium gluing drywall to an existing wall where drywall screws can't be used, I will use a 2x4 across the drywall and put the (I call them pump jacks) against the opposing wall and apply pressure. And also great for dust containment as Spruce...

I always use Rockon backer board screws that have a coating to resist possible rust from getting to the grout.
They are expensive but are used in conjunction with high moisture.

Re: insulation and vapor barrier on metal studs

It's a Canadian tire security building at one of their distribution centers in Toronto. The outside walls are metal and we have to tear down the walls inside to view the possible damage from a flat top roof water leak. So in the quote I have to give prices on insulation along with a vapour barrier i...

insulation and vapor barrier on metal studs

I was wondering what application would be used for a vapor barrier when using metal studs on an outside wall? I think Roxul has an insulation with a backing on it.
