My wall on the side right now is 15.5 and that s without drywall so with the half inch drywall that will bring g it to the 15 inch mark and I was hoping you would say 12 and 15 .thank you very much and I guess the shower to the vanity it doesn't need a certain distance does it .I have about 12 inch ...

Toilet Rough In dimensions

I live in Grande Prairie Alberta Canada and was wondering if anyone knew of the plumbing code for the spacing from center of toilet drain to wall on the side and on the back .And if there is a min or max to these dimensions

Thank you very much . Yes bathroom is exempt but will need a GFCI receptacle instead would I be allowed to tie bathroom lighting into that same circuit was the GFI and Would laundry room and mechanical room be exempt from the AFCI ? I think mechanical would be exempt because it will be unfinished . ...

I pulled up the electrical guide from the city Grande prairie ab it says 2016 on it and that’s the most current on there site . I’m just developing my basement so living room bedrooms and 1 bath but I believe that the bathroom only requires a GFCI .. My plan was to just put AFCI on every receptacle ...

I was wondering what the new code is for AFCI breaker .Would I need to put them in for every receptacle circuit And lighting circuit or is it just for bedrooms .

Good evening everyone

I was wondering what the new code is for AFCI .Do I need to put them in for ever receptacle circuit I have or is it just for bedrooms . And do I have to put them on the circuits that are only lights . Or can they have regular breakers

So I ran a string line and to me it bows down a bit . So it looks like the two post in from need to go up and the post under the issue needs to come down a bit . But then again I’m not a professional . Just want it fixed before I attempt framing the basement . And I’m not sure how much adjust menus ...

Yes there’s a telepost pretty much right there and we’re the baseboards are there there tight against the floor we’re the tele post are and as you go away from the telepost the baseboard board begins a gap between the floor and it maxing out about 3-5 mm

Sorry for the delay I didn’t get notified of your response . The flooring is about 3 ft section . ItS were it meets the hall way and the high spot is the whole 3 ft feels like your standing on the main beam then sponges down across that whole section . Nothing else would be affected by it cause the ...

There’s too main beams running down the centre of the basement . Looking down each one the one has a slit bow . And 1 telepost was slightly loose so I snug it up a bit . But not sure really how to properly adjust them .

I have a lifted spot upstairs causing the laminate to raise a bit and that spot is right on the main beam so the laminate is very hard in that spot then sponge off that spot .
