Re: Two switches two lights.

Wiring for 3-way switch is as below

Panel --14/2-->Switch1 ---14/3 --> Switch2 ---14/2---> Light1---14/2---> Light2---14/2---> Light3 .....

Only second Switch attach to light and not both. Do not attach switch which has wire from panel to light.

Re: Hot water tank outlet

Thanks Emtnut, It is gas water tank heater (rented from reliance). I see that it uses electricity for exhaust fan only. Rated for 120V and using 14/2 wire. Also, Tank is not hot wired but has receptacle nearby where is it hooked in.

Re: Basement receptacles types

Thanks Emtnut ... "Strobes, and CO detector requirement" is new to me as my 4 year old home do not have it (built in oct 2014). Just smoke detectors everywhere. I can replace smoke detectors with single smoke/CO detector. Is strobe mandatory requirement for basement or there is workaround.

Basement pot lights on single breaker

Hi Shannon/Aaron/Emtnut, I read on few of your previous comments that we can place more than 12 pot lights on single 15amp breaker but how much. Layout is attached.

30 LED pot lights with each 9W. Total load will be 270W.

Will it pass Ontario code :)
