I read that shared neutrals causes afci's to trip. I haven't explored yet, but id bet there is some of that going on in that house.

It keeps tripping. The circuit has 3 ceiling mounted lights, some plug ins one of which is running a refridgerator. I think a wall was removed at some point as there is an odd shaped pillar with a couple plug ins and a light switch on it, as well as a junction box with a blank plate over it.

I have a short run to outside wall, maybe 6 feet, but have brick on the outside i'd rather not disturb. So I guess I could go up into the attic and then over and out through the soffit?

I was thinking of ducting the fan hood out of the house instead of the ole filter/recycled air option.
