Tread and Riser Help

Hey Shannon, i`m redoing my stairs and don`t have a clue what to use for the treads and risers and later on railings. These are everyday stairs but don`t get a ton of use. I do have a German Shepherd that like to use them...lol. I`m thinking a hardwood finish but I`m on a budget, what's your advice ?

Re: Kitchen Cabinets

You mentioned about the right handed drill, those would work great for drilling through the wall studs so i can feed my speaker etc wires through. I looked at the Home Depot web site and it looks like they are left handed drills but the listing says right handed. Is that a misprint and if so where c...

I would tear it all down, check the insulation and drywall it. Finish it like you would a room in your house.

Good luck and be Safe, keep us updated.

Re: Resheathing and Shingling Porch Roof HELP........PLEASE

The main beams seam solid and still good. A couple of the boards going across the roof need replacement. I`m thinking of turning this part of the roof into a flat roof with a slight angle for drainage and make a deck......Thought please ?
