Angled framing question

Hi again, double checking before I start drywalling my interior framing.. Due to layout of my basement and objects above I had to frame an angled wall for bedroom door.. I cannot remember the angle, but it does not come off the other walls at 45 degrees... will this be a problem for anything hanging...

once they are cut to the right width on a table saw or with a circular saw they should stand in there pretty well the same as the channel they sit in? Ok so it looks like the clean out cap is below the surface ,so thats good. That black outer plastic pipe stuff is just a scrap piece of weeping tile pipe used to keep the concrete back from the actual clean out. That excess can be cut off with a sharp utility knife. So I can just lay the DryBarrier...

how to frame around telepost/column (Floating Studs)

Hi, I live in Manitoba.. we require floating walls.. I have a telepost in the open I would like to close in.. I would like to create it 8-10"x8-10" wide to make it look beefier, proportional but nice.. How do I go about this? Thanks!

I seen in showhomes/new homes they have a nice clean square of plywood that sits flush with the conc...
