installing Push Fit connector to water line in Basement

Post by Okie » Sun Nov 11, 2018 9:59 am

I plan on connecting my ice maker by using Braided Line going into the basement and hooking onto the PEX water line, using the Push Fit Connector. Do you have a video showing how to do this? How to cut into the PEX line and is the Push Fit Connector all I need? Thank you.

Here is a video showing installing a push fit T with a valve for an ice maker. In the video it was installed on copper pipe but push fits work on Pex and copper.

I do not have an actual video explaining how to cut pet pipe but you do need a special tubing cutter so that you do not damage the pipe . They are very cheap .Here is a link, all you need is a cheap $8 dollar one for sure.https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss ... ipe+cutter
