So I replaced a bathroom sink faucet and the threaded pipe is very narrow compared to the drilled hole. It tends to move when you use it despite how hard I tighten it. What can I do to make it more snug besides replace the faucet with a better sized one?
Sounds like you don't have the ability to tighten it enough, meaning not enough threads on the hold down apparatus. Stack some washers or make a spacer to fit between the nut and hold down clamp, that should do the trick.
If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.
Ya the threaded tubes are always much smaller. If you are trying to apply it to the sink only (without and counter top in-between) sometimes they are not easy to tighten like Spruce said. Add some spacers and give it a try.
