Patching a hole in shower stall tile!

Post by Gabe » Sun Jun 16, 2019 9:28 am

What is the best and most waterproof way to patch a hole in a shower stall ceramic tile?

The hole is 3/4 inch deep and 3/4 inch wide all around! Thank you to all responders!

I think I'd be inclined to use sanded grout to fill the hole or possibly replace that one tile. Just depends on the situation and what I have to work with.

Yup grout is your best bet. I actually may fill with a mould resistant caulk/silicone ,let that fully cure (2 days) and then just fill the top 1/4" with grout? This may better water proof the depth of the hole.
