Old door hinge removal

Post by JohnDS » Sun Nov 25, 2018 11:39 pm

Hey guys,

How do I remove the pin from this hinge. Am I correct in thinking there are two pins and one comes out from the bottom and one comes out from the top? I don’t want to start banging on things unless I’m sure how it comes apart. Sorry picture is sideways. Thank you.

Single pin, from the top. The bottom is simply a cap pressed into the bottom of the hinge. Grab under the head of the pin with side cutters and then use a hammer to tap it out, easiest way to pull pins.
