Electrical close to dryer exhaust pipe

Post by badali » Mon Mar 18, 2019 7:00 pm

Hi,

The electrical installed for my dryer was run exactly where I want to dryer exhaust to be drilled.

The wall is plaster so it's just an open cavity and the wire will prob be 2" from the exhaust pipe. I couldn't find anything in the code book I checked

Is this anything to be concerned about?

You can put your hand against the inside drum after running it, the pipe won't be any warmer than that, it will actually be quite a bit cooler by the time it travels a foot or two to the wall connection.
If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.
