Window Trim

Post by JaeLorde » Wed May 08, 2019 11:21 am

I’m looking to remove my window trim, sand, refinish and reinstall. when i removed one panel, there’s this blank space with nothing in it. should i fill it for better insulation? if yes, with what? thanks!

yes you can add either batt insulation or rigid foam insulation. If you add rigid then cut it loose leaving about 1/4" gap all around and then use canned spray foam to seal the edges.
