Post by magambo » Thu Sep 05, 2019 11:50 am

Hi
just finishing the walls and I have used foam to insulate the basement walls and then roxul and then vapour barrier.
I wanted to know do I have to put vapour barrier and roxul on the top as ceiling will be below that I don't know what to call the space but attached is the picture.

Yes for sure , the insulation and air /vapour barrier must continue right to the underside of the wood floor and the air/vapour barrier must be sealed.
I have some videos with options you could do for these areas.https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... UL0nfPS16F
