I have a cracked driveway, sinking and in poor shape overall. I heard about rubber paving, Do you guys have any experience with this form of paving a driveway? Would you recommend it over doing the more traditional way with concrete.
I have no real experience with these rubber coverings but if your driveway is sinking these will not stop that. They will however spruce up a pretty ugly cracked drive way however. I m not sure what the life expectancy is , and I’m sure that depends on local climate conditions
I'm not a fan of using coatings to try to rectify other issues. I agree with Shannon, if the driveway is cracked and sinking, it is better to redo it properly over trying to apply something over it, it's just going to continue to crack and move around under the coating, eventually causing coating failure as well. Money better spent is on replacement.
