Running power to shed/workshop

Hi I have a question about running power to my workshop. Is it possible to run power from my existing panel out to a new panel in the workshop, if so do I run it like the video were you show adding breakers to a panel. :?: thank you for any info.

You can but many things come in to play hear. First you need to determine if your existing service panel can provide you with enough power to run what you wanna run in the shop. About the smallest sub panel you will want in a shop is 40Amp and that may not be enough to run larger equipment . I would recommend that you contact a local electrician in this case , they can determine exactly what you have available and if it is enough to provide you with what you need in the shop. This really needs to be done right the first time so consult a professional.
