nicked sheathing

Post by Jmaclicious » Wed Nov 28, 2018 4:26 pm

Hey I noticed when I was looking over my wires to staple them that I must’ve nicked a spot when I was pulling. Is this a big deal or can I just tape it ? I can’t really repull since it’s a wire that goes upstairs and that is now covered up.

That doesn't look bad at all. Just an abraded sheath. No real puncture, and most importantly the conductors inside are probably perfectly insulated and not punctured. I wouldn't do anything with it, leave it as-is.
