Odds are the round center cap in the very middle of the fixture will pop off or unscrew, revealing a retainer nut.

Tried to wedge a screw driver in there with no luck.

It may be a screw on type of cap then. If that's the case hopefully the threads aren't deformed from attempts to pry it off.

If you need brute force you could screw in a couple sheet metal screws and use those to either twist it or pull it.

The only other possibilities that come to mind are set screws around the perimeter or entire fixture has a "twist lock" attachment base, both of which are unlikely.

The only other thing I can think of is to do a reverse image search on Google to see if you can find the manufacturer, then go download the owner's manual for the light fixture.

I'm thinking the same as the other guys ... Either pop off the middle circle part, or possibly a set screw on the whole fixture.

That center part is where I'd start, either try to see if it's threaded, or pry it off.
