Installing a chandelier

Post by david19 » Fri Aug 23, 2019 12:42 pm

I removed an old chandelier and now I am installing a new one. The issue I have is that there are (3) separate electrical wires coming into light fixture box. There is one hot wire the rest seem to have been connected together leading to other light switches, since there are rooms lights not working now that all have been disconnected. Question with the 2 wires from the chandelier how do I reattach the wiring so that everything is working correctly. Not sure if it makes sense, if there was a spot I could attach a photo that would probably make better sense.

If you can attach a pic of your box we may be able to figure it out for you.
