After that polar vortex (AKA the worst cold snap in 20+ years) at the end of January, we've been BLITZED with snow here. It's been relentless!

It's not cold here, what are you guys complaining about?!?!?! ;)

Yes, it's been a month on the truck, it's been over a month, actually. Not a lot to choose from on Craigslist that's worth looking at, let alone worth the price some of these people are asking. The choices get even narrower when half of the "private sellers" are F'ing scumbag dealers. Bonefied dealers are out of my price range at the moment or I'd have bought something by now.

Have you considered looking out of state? Maybe Californians value stuff too highly, perhaps Utah will have better prices. Just tell 'em your Mormon first.

Cali is definitely a weird place, for sure! There is no correlation between price and quality, I'm seeing $10K vehicles that scrappers wouldn't want and "pristine" ones for under $2K. Nobody returns calls and fly-by-night dealers are posting under "owner". This is also the land of modified vehicles, which I want no part of, so the pool gets smaller and smaller all the time.

Get a new one. They're only like $70K for a fully-loaded crew cab 4x4. A steal!

Yeah, seems truck prices have tripled since I bought my '95, back then I got a fully loaded GMC Sierra 2500, the only options it didn't have were leather seats and 4x4 and it cost me $22k. Can't even buy a 5 year old truck for that these days.

Canadian Tire is manufacturing trucks out of ice, maybe you should go up north to get your truck?

Let the dog out for his morning business ... Can they poo standing up ??

Chocolate lab, field breed, so he's a BIG doggie (He's slightly taller than a full size shepard, and alot thicker). 13 years old, and 110lbs of puppy running around the house

Close to it. Lots of snow, and lots of cold. We had a good freeze period in Jan. We got part of the last one, but it think we were on the edge of it, not quite as cold as you guys. We would get 2 or 3 days of cold, but then a bit warmer.

I was in town today (Ottawa) ... they are running out of places to put all the snow, and more is expected soon !

After a relatively mild Dec and Jan we've been just socked with snow too. Back to back Alberta clippers. Coooold too. I think with the very mild Dec and Jan, and then the subsequent "polar vortex" and snow, we've already caught up in a few weeks with an average winter temp range and snow fall! But we're on par for having record February snow (usually March is our blizzard month.)

There should be a script that does image processing after an image upload is made, so the user doesn't have to do it. Like max width image is 600 pix and if a user uploads more than that, it proportionally scales it down to 600 pix. You gotta have that so users on both computers and phones can use the forum.

I suggest ImageMagick, it's an open source command-line script-based image processor. Works amazingly well, and has been out for decades. I'd be surprised if someone hasn't integrated it somehow with phpBB.

ImageMagick was working great for years until the latest update, phpBB can’t use it anymore for whatever reason. I just tested a pic upload and it resized fine so I can’t explain what problem you were experiencing. I used a full res pic from my phone, I did not need to resize smaller. The software does shrink down photos. How many MB was the photo??

For what it's worth, the mercury is running south around here as well. While it's nowhere near what you guys are dealing with, it's definitely chilly for these parts.

It's not the size limit, it's the pixel limit (800x800)

I had to resize these to post them.
