I may as well be goth, it looks black.
It almost looks like you took a Photoshop brush and put a black blob on your thumbnail in that pic. But then I wondered why you would ever do that. lol

Five weeks is brutal, I hear the itching is what makes you go mad
Yeah today is the first day I've really started to get irritated by how bulky and clumsy it is.
I do have finger dexterity so I can type, but the heel of my hand is elevated by the cast. I've been restricted to not lift anything heavier than 5 lbs/2.3 kg.
Haven't had any issues with itching yet. The NSAIDs I take regularly sort of prevent that, and if it becomes a problem they told me to run water through the cast.

I assume this means all feeling is now accounted for once again?
Yep, the nerve block they did before surgery was very strong. It didn't
start to wear off until the next morning after the day I had surgery. I'll tell you, sleeping was close to impossible, I had this arm that felt like a dead weight. I had to keep it above my heart and iced.

Question for you guys: have you ever realized after the fact that you'd (potentially) made a mistake on a job and gone back to check/fix it?
I haven't made any critical mistakes that require a revisit, but I've certainly had retrospective thoughts where I would have approached a situation differently; used a better technique or more refined process.
