Icemaker Hook-up

Post by 2maddie2 » Wed Apr 01, 2015 3:41 pm

I watched the video regarding this topic, but I have a question. I will need to run my braided line past my stove to get to the fridge. Is it acceptable to run the line past the stove and below the 220 plug for the stove? I don't really have access from below because right below the fridge there is ductwork. Thanks!

Yes It is acceptable. These braided lines are very durable I have never seen one spring a leak yet. If you are at all concerned you could protect it with a piece of PVC conduit behind the stove but I really see no need. I would however use a couple of plastic hose/line straps to hold it in place to avoid getting hooked on the stove.
