Closing up a hole

Post by Sveder » Tue Sep 04, 2018 7:56 am

Hello everyone. I really need some advice.

I know very little about house improvement, plus English isn't my native language, so I'm sorry if I don't use the right words for things.

I need to close this hole with the water pipes for our house in it. I need to put a lid on it, so rain water doesn't get to the pipes, but so I will still be able to access the pipes when needed. What do you guys think I should do? Do you know of any videos which could help me, because I really don't even know what to type in to google to get what I'm looking for. :)

You want what's called a "valve box". I would set it to a depth flush with the surface of the paver base, so that I could lay the pavers over it to hide it. If you want to keep it exposed, then use a Christy box and cut the pavers to fit around it.
If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.
