Faucet type for a clothes washer

Post by Flywelder » Tue Aug 13, 2019 9:15 pm

I'm moving my clothes washer and dryer to a entirely new location, to please my wife. I'm using 1/2 inch PEX. Due to code restrictions and obstacles inside the existing walls, My water lines and drain line, will be on the outside of the drywall, thus visible, which is OK with the wife and I and with the inspector, or so he said 6 months ago.
My question is: What type of and name of, faucet should I use for the clothes washer so I can attach them to the wall studs after I hang the sheet rock?

Here is the type of faucet I would use. Mount two of these to a flat piece of 1x4 that is attached across a couple of wall studs.
