Best tool for the cut

Post by jstrez77 » Wed Jan 09, 2019 9:03 am

I have this little strip of wood 1/2 x 3/4 and I want to shave off only a little bit. Maybe 1/8 or 1/4. What is the best tool. Table saw?

A tablesaw with a zero clearance insert and a push block. It would be a whole lot safer to take a thin strip off a larger board than to resize this small stick, or, buy a smaller stick that fits the purpose.
If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

A thickness planer would be best but not everyone has one.
