Just saw your video on youtube.com, it explain very well, but I have a missing siding near the underlayment area, that wall is join with another angled roof so the shape is strangle. I took a photo at this site,

By looking at the picture I would say that the second row of siding looks like it has come unclipped from the top of the row below it and is falling down.Possibly it was not nailed well, climb up and see if it will push up tight again.
