Pour a 1/2cup baking soda and 1/2 cup vinegar down the drain and put the plug in the drain for a few minutes. After about 5-10 min. run about a gallon (4L) of hot water down the drain. If this does not do the trick try it a couple more times. For stubborn blockages you may need to remove the plumbing below the sink and snake the main line as grease can tend to build up in it and cause this issue in the kitchen. Also inspect the P trap while you have it off to be sure the problem is not right there at that point.
