Vapour barrier needed?

Post by greg1 » Mon Feb 05, 2018 3:06 pm

Sorry if silly question but i cant find a definite answer and my municipality doesnt have a brochure available anymore on website. Do I need a vapour barrier over my wall framing? I cant find a brochure online. What I have done is rigid foam, stud wall, insulation with comfortbat and now need to know if i have to put poly on my framed wall before drywall.

What did you use for rigid foam? How thick and brand? What area of the world are you?

That is a really comprehensive brochure you found there. That is exactly what every Province and State should have available online .
