Correct Glue for Vinyl Plank Forum

Post by brucebotti » Wed Apr 11, 2018 3:31 pm

I'm getting ready to install Vinyl Plank Flooring in my basement rec room. It will be a floating floor, but there will be a few areas where I may need to glue a piece or two together. What type of glue would I need for this?
Thanks in advance.

Check the manufactures instructions but generally a good pressure sensitive flooring glue is what you want.

Thanks Shannon. Actually the glue I was looking for was to butt two pieces together in a tight space, not to glue it to the floor.

Not 100% sure on that? I suppose any glue that is good on vinyl. Check manufactures instructions or website.
