Anchor bolts when you are pouring cement

Post by Boatnerd » Mon Jun 04, 2018 4:51 pm

Is there a proper spacing for anchor bolts when you are pouring cement? I
am building a shed, 12x16, and have watched your videos about framing door,
windows and walls. I am also reverse engineering a shed from youtube. With
16" center for walls, do I need 16" spacing on anchor bolts or will 32" do?
I realize that the spacing around the service door and garage door will be
different.

Rule of thumb for a shed would be around 10" from each end of a wall and approx 48" O.C. otherwise. Make sure they do not line up with a stud location if you a setting anchor bolts in concrete before pouring floor.
